Peeps, I invite you to join me at Minnesota’s first World Day for Farmed Animals Vigil on Friday, October 2. I’ll be speaking at the event, sharing about the animal who inspired me to go vegan 18 years ago, and then I’ll read a very special poem.
At the vigil, you’ll also hear other powerful animal stories, participate in short meditations, and learn how you can create change for animals. The purpose of the event is to mourn the loss of more than 60 billion farmed animals slaughtered worldwide each year for food, and to take action to create a better future for animals. This vigil will take place on October 2 (Gandhi’s birthday) at 5:30pm CT at Father Hennepin Bluff Park.
You can join in-person (socially distanced, with masks) or online through a livestream of the event. I hope to see you there. XO, MG
